For people with hearing loss, the lack of speech information is a major barrier in communication. LX AR collaborated with a domestic hearing-aid manufacturer to develop the world’s first AR glasses for the hearing impaired. The glasses use AR waveguide optics to transcribe speech into text in real time and display it directly in the wearer’s view. Additionally, color and image enhancement functions support those with low vision or color blindness. This innovation delivers “communication as normal,” marking an important step in AR accessibility solutions.
